Suttur Kesari title for the wrestler from Belagavi and Srirangapattna
Belagavi’s Pailwan Nagaraju, bagged the “Suttur Kesari,” and emerged victorious at the Kusti (wrestling) event organized as part of the Suttur Jatra Mahotsava in Suttur, Nanjangud taluk. The event, which saw the participation of 60 pairs of Pailwans, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, Revenue Minister R. Ashoka, Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar and others were present.

Nagaraju, who hails from Belagavi, put on a solid performance throughout the event, ultimately earning the title of “Suttur Kesari” for his efforts.
