BS Gavimath KLE Retired senior professor from Belagavi (North Karnataka) to be felicitated with Kuvempu Award.
On December 18 at the Kannada Sahitya Parishad in Chamarajpet, Bengaluru, the Bengaluru Kannada Janashakti Kendra will present the state-level Kuvempu Honorary Award to renowned district literati and retired director of KLE Prasaranga, Profesor B.S. Gavimath.
Prof. BS Gavimath will receive the award from eminent national scholar Dr. Hampana during the Kuvempu darshan and presentation event. President CK Ramegowda will also preside over the Kannada Janashakti Kendra.
Who is BS Gavimath?
Professor BS Gavimath, who lives in Belagavi City and is 75 years old, has made the youth feel guilty by his sacrificial service in various sectors. His contribution to literature is exceptional. Over 50 works have been written by him or edited by him. He put in a lot of effort as the director of KLE Prasaranga to publish hundreds of the KLE Society’s books. His admirers have referred to him as Sahitya Bhushan. He continues to work as KLE Varta Patra’s Honorary Editor. He is being awarded by Bengaluru’s Kannada Janashakti Kendra for his entire literary service.
