Belagavi Border Dispute CM Basavraj Bommai to meet Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
Belagavi Border Dispute: Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka, stated on Tuesday that if the topic of the cabinet expansion comes up during his visit to New Delhi, he is ready to address it with BJP leadership and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Bommai will fly to the capital on Wednesday to take part in a meeting Shah has organized with the chief ministers of Maharashtra and Karnataka to resolve the ongoing Belagavi border Dispute between the two states.
When asked about expanding the cabinet, the Chief Minister responded, “Officially the meeting is addressing the border problem, after that if he (Shah) discusses the topic, I will be going prepared.”

Bommai had already said that the cabinet-building process will probably happen after the Gujarat Assembly elections. In order to create room for the new faces ahead of the Assembly elections next year, the Chief Minister has been under great pressure for some time about the enlargement and reorganization of the cabinet that has not yet taken place.
Some sources suggested that the cabinet may be expanded by filling the six open positions or that it could be reorganized by removing some members and adding an equivalent number of new ones.
In some circles, there were also rumors that the state ministry may undergo a total revamp like Gujarat. However, with the election drawing near, many candidates believe it is “too late now.”
