Mangal S Angadi Hon’ble MP Meets MoRTH Minister Nitin Gadkari for 4 Laning of Belagavi-Goa NH
Mangala S Angadi Lok Sabha from Belagavi requested the need to upgrade the road from its current narrow two lanes to four lanes, stretching along the Goa-Karnataka Border up to Panjim, which was discussed during a visit to honorable Union Minister Sri Nitin Gadkari in his office. This would ensure better connectivity between the two states of Karnataka and Goa.
In order to reduce traffic congestion, it was also discussed to talk about the creation of the Belagavi Bypass and Ring roads at the meeting
During the meeting, the Hon. Minister spoke at length about the aforementioned difficulties and promised that the aforementioned activities will begin promptly.
It might be remembered that when MP Mangal S Angadi visited with the members of the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, they requested her to raise the issue with the Ministry in order to increase trade between the two states.
