
LHB Rake of Belagavi Bengaluru Festival Special at SBC CDO
Newly Approved Belagavi-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express Special Train (BGM SMVB BGM Express Special) to Ease Festival Travel Rush
In an exciting development for the residents of Belagavi and Bengaluru, the Belagavi Core Development Group, in collaboration with ZRUCC Member Shri Prasad Kulkarni and with the full support of Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha, Shri Irranna Kadadi, has successfully secured the approval for a festival special train to connect the two cities during the vibrant festival of Dussehra. The special train, designated as T.No: 07307/07308 BGM SMVB BGM Express Special, is set to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during the festive season.
The details of the newly approved festival special train are as follows: Comprising a total of 21 coaches, the train’s composition includes one First AC/LWFAC, two 2Tier AC/LWAACW, three 3 Tier AC/LWACCN, ten Sleeper/LWSCN, two General/LS, and two EOG/Guard van/LWLRRM coaches, with an additional LWCBAC coach in a locked condition, which is part of the rake of T.No: 20658 NZM-UBL. Maintenance will be carried out in the UBL area with RBPC OEA/PFTR based in SMVB. The BGM SMVB BGM Express Special’s schedule includes one trip each way, with T.No: 07307 BGM SMVB BGM Express departing from Belagavi on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, and T.No: 07308 SMVB BGM departing from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
