The Belagavi Airport, also known as Sambra Airport, has added a significant feather to its cap with the commencement of additional daily flights to Mumbai by Star Air’s ERJ175. The much-anticipated service was launched on the 15th of October, providing travelers with increased convenience and connectivity between the financial capital and the charming city of Belagavi.
Star Air, the prominent regional airline, has introduced a new flight route featuring the state-of-the-art Embraer ERJ175 series aircraft. The addition of this daily flight to Mumbai further strengthens the connectivity options for passengers traveling between the two cities.

Belagavi, a picturesque city in Karnataka, has been progressively gaining importance as a hub for business and tourism. This new flight service of Star Air’s ERJ175 is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the accessibility of this thriving city.
The additional ERJ175 flight operates three days a week, on Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays, complementing Star Air’s existing schedule, which already includes flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight schedule for this Star Air ERJ175 is as follows:
- Departure from Belagavi at 13:55 hrs, with an arrival in Mumbai at 15:10 hrs.
- Departure from Mumbai at 12:15 hrs, with an arrival in Belagavi at 13:25 hrs.
The inaugural flight of this new route was celebrated in a special ceremony at AAI Belagavi Airport, where the first passenger was handed their boarding pass. The event was attended by officials from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force (KSISF), and Star Air.
