Additional Sleeper Coaches and Revised Timings to Ease Festive Rush for MYSURU and MIRAJ EXP
In a bid to accommodate the surge of passengers during the upcoming Dussehra Festival, the South Western Railway (SWR) has unveiled a series of measures aimed at enhancing travel convenience for Mysuru and Miraj Exp. These measures include the addition of extra sleeper coaches to key train services and alterations to the timetable of a popular daily passenger train (Mysuru and Miraj Exp).
Belagavi-Mysuru Express Gets Extra Sleeper Coach
From the 17th of October to the 25th of October 2023, passengers traveling on Train No. 17302 Belagavi-Mysuru Express will enjoy added comfort as SWR has decided to augment this service with one extra sleeper coach. This move comes in response to the expected waiting list and high demand during the festive period.
Mysuru-Belagavi Express to Receive Extra Sleeper Coach as Well
In tandem, Train No. 17301 Mysuru-Belagavi Express will also be equipped with an additional sleeper coach from the 20th of October to the 28th of October 2023. Passengers on this route will benefit from the extra capacity to accommodate the festive rush, ensuring a smoother travel experience.
Timetable Alteration for UBL Miraj Daily Passenger
Apart from the sleeper coach enhancements, SWR has also made changes to the schedule of Train No. 17332 UBL Miraj Daily Passenger, specifically in its journey between UBL (Hubli) and Desur stations. Commencing from the same date, this train will now depart from Hubli at 10:45 AM, as opposed to the previous departure time of 11:00 AM. Furthermore, the train will arrive at Desur at 2:14 PM, ten minutes earlier than its previous arrival time of 2:24 PM. It’s important to note that there will be no changes in the timings of this train between Belagavi and Miraj stations.
These modifications of Mysuru and Miraj Exp aim to enhance passenger convenience and facilitate smoother travel experiences during the festive season. Passengers planning to travel during this period are encouraged to take advantage of these additional services and adjust timetables to ensure a hassle-free journey.
