Jyotiraditya Scindia intervenes for Star Air Belagavi - ISK flight
Belagavi Nashik Star Air flight to start soon:
According to Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, the Belagavi Nashik Star Air flight, which had been discontinued since November 2022, is likely to restart in the month of January 2023.
Under UDAN, a Centrally-aided regional connectivity scheme, Star Air, the aviation arm of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, began operating the Belagavi-Nashik-Belagavi (Belagavi Nashik Star Air Flight) service on January 25, 2021. The flight was run twice a week for twenty-one months. It was canceled beginning in November 2022 in the Winter schedule.
“This action will undermine the UDAN scheme’s objective. Therefore, the duration of this program should be prolonged even further,” the aviation industry has urged in an open letter to the civil aviation ministry.
Union Minister Scindia responded to the request by stating that the service between Belagavi Nashik Star Air flight will restart in January 2023.
