MP Mangal Suresh Angadi Along with Saalumarada Thimakka inaugurate Belagavi Kollam Express
Belagavi Kollam Express inaugurated:
Nearly 100 plus people of Bhartiya Ayyappa Seva Sangh (R), Belagavi, including Members of Belagavi Core Development Group and ‘Railfans’ gathered at Platform 1 of the New Belagavi Railway Station to Inaugurate the Inaugural run of Belagavi Kollam Express, the Sabarimala Train On Demand Festival Special to Lord Swami Ayyappa Temple.
Among these Noted Indian Environmentalist Shrimati Saalumarada Thimakka was present to bless the inaugural run.
The Train was flagged off by Member of Parliament Lok Sabha Shrimati Mangal Suresh Angadi, Anil Benake & Saalumarada Thimakka in the presence of 100+ Lord Swami Ayyapa devotees.
This Inaugural run saw a 75% full load from Belagavi and it could’ve been 100% but as this Inaugural train was a fully reserved train, thus Unreserved & General tickets weren’t issued.
The Train passengers consisted of Tourists, Travelers to Tamil Nadu & Kerala, and of course, the devotees visiting Lord Swami Ayyappa Temple at Sabarimala.
The train was beautifully decorated with Banana Trees and Marigold Garland.
The Passenger and the Members of Bhartiya Ayyappa Seva Sangh demanded this train to run as permanently and serve the connectivity to Tamil Nadu and Kerala from Belagavi.
