
Agniveers candidates for both Indian Army & Indian Airforce have arrived in Belagavi
Agniveers: The Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Center in the Belagavi military camp area has received the first group of 160 candidates across the Nation for training. On January 2, the training session will begin. The MLIRC has made preparations for administration and training.
The candidates who reported for training between December 25th and December 30th, 2022, will begin their training on January 1st 2023.

Following physical tests, medical tests, and the common entrance exam, they were selected. They were brought to the center following extensive security, background, and document verification procedures.
With a history spanning over 254 years, MLIRC is one of the nation’s most established military training facilities. At this Regimental Center, the chosen Agniveers will go through 10 weeks of Basic Military Training and then 21 weeks of Advance Military Training. According to a press release, Agniveers will be attested as young soldiers after successfully completing the required training and being sent to the various Maratha battalions across the nation.
Due to the coordinated and coordinated efforts of the civil administration led by Divisional Commissioner Belagavi and his team, the ongoing assistance of Southern Command, and the commitment of the aspirants to aid in nation-building, the selection and despatch of candidates through all stages have been made possible. The candidates have shown passion and excitement in joining their training center by the due date and don their new position of “AGNIVEERs” during the following six months, despite the road traffic movement conditions and Winter Session at Belagavi.
