Trains Via Belagavi to be LHBfied.
As Central Railways plans to replace the existing rail coaches with Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, which are built for higher speed and equipped with better safety features, the train ride between Mumbai and Belagavi may soon be more convenient for passengers.
The Sharavati, Chalukya, Dadar-Mysore, and Dadar Pondicherry Express’s current Indian Coach Factory (ICF) coaches will be changed into LHB coaches, according to an official announcement. Similarly, the Mysuru Renigunta Express will undergo a conversion. There is a rake-sharing agreement (RSA) for these trains. From several coach factories, a number of coaches would be sent for Sharavati Express to Dadar Coaching Depot.
These Trains via Belagavi pass on a daily basis from Mumbai Dadar Central and go to the respective locations of Puducherry, Mysore, and Tirunelveli

These trains will now run with 16 LHB coaches with 2 sleeper 3tier, 5 third AC, 4 second AC, 1 1st AC, and 2 general coaches plus EOG and LHB SLR.
