Railways to Run SMVB BGM SMVB Special Train Between SMVT Bengaluru & Belagavi for Summer & Election Season
Railway Board has given approval for the running of an SMVB BGM SMVB Special and election train between SMVT Bengaluru and Belagavi to clear an extra rush of passengers. The train will operate on a ‘Train on Demand’ basis and will run only one trip each way.

Coach Composition
‘The special train, with number T.No:06585/86 SMVB BGM SMVB Special, will have a composition of 16 Sleeper coaches (GSCN), one AC 3 Tier coach (ACCN), and a total of 19 ICF coaches with Two (SLR/D).
SL/S: 16 B/3AC:1, SLRD: 2 Total: 19 Coaches.
It will be maintained at the SBC( KSR Bengaluru) area with RBPC and will have its Primary Maintenance there.
SMVB BGM SMVB Special Timetable
The train will depart from SMVT Belagavi on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, on its journey towards Belagavi (T.No:06585), while the return journey from Belagavi to SMVT Bengaluru (T.No:06586) will take place on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023. The train will have it’s OEA/PFTR(Cleaning of Platform Turn Round Trains) at Belagavi.

It’s important to note that linen will not be supplied in the AC coach.
This special summer and election train is expected to ease the burden of passengers during the busy travel period, and it’s hoped that it will provide a convenient and comfortable travel option for commuters.
