The Karnataka Vidhan Sabha Elections 2023 have been conducted successfully in a single phase amid tight security arrangements. Voting commenced at 7 am on Wednesday, 10th May and the overall final voter turnout for the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha Elections 2023 to 18 constituencies of Belagavi District stood at 76.16%.
According to the Election Commission turnout app, 70.83% voter turnout was recorded up to 6 PM in the state. The elections witnessed fierce competition between various political parties, including the Indian National Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the Janata Dal (Secular).
Out of the 18 constituencies in Belagavi District, Kagwad registered the highest voting percentage at 82.30%, while Belgaum North witnessed the lowest turnout at 59.53%.
