What to Expect from the Belagavi Weather Report: A Rain Forecast
No one can predict the weather with 100% accuracy, but that doesn’t stop people from trying. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at what you can expect from the weather report in terms of rain forecasts.
1. What is a rain forecast?
A rain forecast is a prediction of how much rain will fall in a certain area over a certain period of time. Meteorologists use mathematical models to predict precipitation, and they use data from weather stations to help them make their predictions. They can then provide forecasts for the rain that will occur in the coming days, weeks, or even months.

Update by IMD:
Even though Bengaluru awoke to a foggy and drizzle-filled morning on Monday, the state capital of Karnataka is expected to have rain through December 16.
In spite of Cyclone “Mandous” weakening in neighbouring states, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for the districts of Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, and Shivamogga. These districts were expected to get significant rainfall, therefore authorities have taken precautions to prevent any harm.
The coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and north Karnataka’s Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Haveri, Gadag, and Ballary are all expected to receive an average amount of rain.
