KMV Projects Clinches Belagavi Airport Terminal Contract with Lowest Bid
In a pivotal development, KMV Projects emerged as the lowest bidder for the civil construction of Belagavi Airport’s new terminal building. Out of the seven contenders, KMV Projects presented the most competitive bid at Rs. 220.08 crores, while BG Shirke secured the highest bid at Rs. 277.64 crores.
The upcoming terminal, boasting four aerobridges, is poised to substantially enhance the airport’s capacity, accommodating 2,400 peak-hour passengers—equally split between arrivals and departures. Upon completion, the existing terminal will transition to managing arrivals, aligning with the traffic demand projection of 2.0 million passengers per annum until 2037, as advised by AAI’s consultant Landrum and Brown.

The unveiling of technical bids in December 2023 revealed a competitive landscape with a total of seven bidders.
