Enhanced Connectivity Between Mysuru and Belagavi to Benefit Passengers Starting BGM MYS BGM Exp starts from September 26, 2023

In a significant development for railway commuters, the Railway Board has given its nod for the extension of Train No. 17302/17301, the Mysuru-Dharwad-Mysuru Express, which will now run up to Belagavi as BGM MYS BGM Exp (Belagavi Mysuru Express). This extension is set to commence on September 26, 2023, marking a new era in railway connectivity for the region of North Karnataka.

Mysuru to Belagavi Express (Train No. 17301)

The extended route for Train No. 17301 (BGM MYS BGM Exp) , departing from Mysuru on September 26, 2023, will now take passengers all the way to Belagavi. This new service, aptly named the “Mysuru-Belagavi Express,” promises to be a game-changer for travelers between these two cities.

Belagavi to Mysuru Express (Train No. 17302)

Simultaneously, Train No. 17302 (BGM MYS BGM Exp), which was originally scheduled to originate from Dharwad, will now start its journey from Belagavi on the same date, September 26, 2023. This train, known as the “Belagavi-Mysuru Express,” will provide a convenient link for passengers traveling in the opposite direction.

Enhanced Maintenance Facilities

With the extension of Train No. 17301 to Belagavi, an essential change in maintenance facilities is on the horizon. On September 26, 2023, upon its arrival at Dharwad, the empty rake of Train No. 17301 MYS-DWR will be relocated to Belagavi. This move signifies the commencement of its primary maintenance at the Belagavi Coaching Depot, effective immediately. Additionally, Railway Board Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM) has issued Railway Board Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM) orders for the transfer of the rake link to Train No. 17302, ensuring the seamless continuation of its linked trains.

Current Timings and Bookings

Passengers planning to travel on the Mysuru-Belagavi Express (Train No. 17301) and the Belagavi-Mysuru Express (Train No. 17302) can check the detailed stoppages and timings available up to Journey Commencing On (JCO) September 30, 2023. It’s essential to note that these timings will undergo changes in the new timetable effective from October 1, 2023.
