Region and Telangana; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) almost places over Marathwada and North Interior Karnataka Belagavi Weather; at many places over Assam & Meghalaya. Konkan & Goa, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karakal and Lakshadweep;
At a few places over Arunachal Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh, at isolated places over Kerala & Mahe. Deep down analysis: 17th to 21st December.
While upper-level temperatures are still high. With the absence of WD, low dipping winds, and strong JST, cold weather as expected in winters especially these dates of December will take a few more days. A nominal dip could be possible during peak night times, however, daytime temperature will continue to stay high.
Image 1 Humidity: With the Deep Depression still pulling possible moisture from around, dry weather conditions were seen over North Gujarat. Rest of the areas, Humidity will be high.
Image 2 Surface Temperature: Extremely high surface temperatures are seen. This is also due to possible heat trapping due to low or zero winds seen in circulation between the surface to medium levels. This is also a reason for the high AQI (Air Quality Index).
