Star Air deploys Embraer 145 aircraft on the Belagavi Jaipur sector instead of the newly acquired E175
In a bid to boost regional connectivity, Star Air, the aviation arm of Sanjay Ghodawat Group, has announced the launch of direct flights between Belagavi and Jaipur (Belagavi Jaipur) under the regional connectivity scheme (RCS) UDAN. The airline will also start a non-RCS flight between Belagavi and Bengaluru on the same day, offering passengers more travel options.

Starting from May 15, 2023, the service between Belagavi and Jaipur (Belagavi Jaipur), as well as Belagavi and Bengaluru, will operate thrice a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Bookings for both sectors are now open, with fares starting from 3999/-* per passenger.
Flight Schedule and Fare
1. Belagavi Jaipur
The flight service between Belagavi and Jaipur (Belagavi Jaipur) will operate with the 50-seater Embraer 145 aircraft, and the fare starts at ₹3,999* per passenger. Flight S5-169 will depart from Belagavi at 12.55 pm and reach Jaipur at 3.10 pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On the same day, Flight S5-170 will depart from Jaipur at 3.40 pm and reach Belagavi at 5.55 pm.

2. Bengaluru Belagavi
The Bengaluru-Belagavi-Bengaluru flight service will also operate thrice a week every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the same 50-seater Embraer 145 aircraft. Flight S5-101 will depart from Bengaluru at 11.25 am and reach Belagavi at 12.30 pm, while Flight S5-170 will depart from Belagavi at 6.20 pm and reach Bengaluru at 7.30 pm.
The new flight service between Belagavi and Jaipur (Belagavi Jaipur) is especially significant as many Marwari and Rajasthani communities reside in North Karnataka, making it an important route for business and leisure travel. With the launch of this direct flight, With this new connectivity, people from Jaipur and nearby areas can now travel to Belagavi and vice versa in just a few hours, without having to undergo a long and tiring road journey. The airline operates frequent flights to seven of its destinations from Belagavi, including Ahmedabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Surat, Tirupati, and Nagpur. While the Belagavi-Nashik flight was discontinued earlier due to insufficient load, Star Air believes that the new flights to Jaipur and Bengaluru will see higher passenger traffic and better profitability.
