The National Highways Authority of India has announced a tender for the ₹2007.9 Crores Belagavi Bagalkot Highway (Belagavi-Hungund-Raichur) Section four-lane highway project. On the basis of design, build, operation, and transfer (the “DBOT Annuity” or “Hybrid Annuity”), the project will be carried out as part of the Bharatmala Pariyojna.

The development, upkeep, and management of the Belagavi Bagalkot Highway (Belgaum-Hungund-Raichur) Section of National Highway No. ****, including the sections from Km 182.300 to Km 228.400 (about 46.200 km) and Km 228.500 to Km 273.400 (approx. 44.900 km), has been given to the Authority by the Government of India.

The Authority had resolved to augment the 4 Lane with Paved Shoulders from Design Ch. 182.300 to Design Ch. 228.500 [Project Length – 46.200 kms] and Design Ch.228.500 to Design Ch.273.400 [Project Length – 44.900 kms] in Belgaum – Hungund – Raichur Section of NH **** (Ext. SH-20) in the State of Karnataka by Four-Laning thereof (the “Project”) on design, build, operate and transfer (the “DBOT Annuity” or “Hybrid Annuity”) basis,

and has made the decision to conduct the bidding procedure in order to choose a private organization as the Bidder who may be awarded the Project. Below are some quick project particular details:
