The Londa Belagavi Miraj section doubling project has been underway for some time, and the completion of the Suldhal Ghataprabha section marks a significant milestone in the project. The section between Gunji to Belagavi, Belagavi to Suldhal Ghataprabha, and Ghataprabha Chikodi Road to Kudachi is now doubled, making rail travel faster and more efficient for passengers.
However, the section between Londa to Gunji and Kudachi to Miraj remains a challenge, with the main hurdles being the British Era old ROB and the construction of a new Krishna River bridge, respectively. Despite these challenges, the railway authorities are working hard to ensure that these sections are doubled as soon as possible, to provide the local community with the benefits of a doubled railway line.
The doubling of the Londa Belagavi Miraj section will bring many benefits to the local community, including improved rail connectivity, increased frequency of trains, and reduced travel time. This will help to boost the local economy and make it easier for people to travel for work, education, and leisure.
The railway authorities are also taking steps to ensure the safety and security of passengers, with the implementation of advanced safety systems and the deployment of additional personnel. Passengers can now enjoy a safer and more comfortable rail journey, with improved facilities and amenities at stations along the doubled line.
The successful completion of the statutory inspection and speed trial of the doubled line between Suldhal Ghataprabha marks a major step forward in the Londa Belagavi Miraj section doubling project. The local community can now look forward to improved rail connectivity, increased frequency of trains, and reduced travel time, and the railway authorities will continue to work hard to bring the benefits of a doubled railway line to all communities along the line
