One Trip SMVB BME AC Exp from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal to Barmer via Belagavi
In a festive boost to rail travel, South Western Railways introduces a new SMVB BME AC Exp, strengthening connections between Bengaluru and Barmer in Rajasthan. Commencing on 21st November 2023, the 06521 Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal – Barmer AC Festival Express promises a luxurious journey mirroring the route of the existing Bengaluru – Jodhpur service.
The AC Festival Express mirrors the timings and stops of its counterpart, the 06219/06220 Bengaluru-Jodhpur-Ahmedabad Special Express. Departing from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal at 4:30 pm, the train is set to arrive in Barmer at 1.45 pm the next day. On return, the 06522 Barmer – Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal AC estival Special Express departs at 3.45 am and reaches Bengaluru at 11.30 pm.
Just like its predecessor, this SMVB BME AC Exp encompasses key stops at stations like Baytu, Balotra, Samdari Jn, Jalor, Bhildi, Patan, Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Pune, Satara, Miraj, Ghataprabha, Belagavi, Dharwad, Hubballi, Haveri, Ranibennur, Davanagere, Birur Tiptra, and Tumkur.

The coach composition remains consistent with 19 LHB coaches ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey. Which Includes: 15 AC 3 Tier Economy and 2 AC 2 Tier and 2 generator Car.
Belagavi continues to play a crucial role in this route, with the train arriving at 4.05 am and departing at 4.10 am on Wednesday and arriving at 10.25 am and departing at 10.30 am on Saturday.
As South Western Railways expands its festival-oriented services, these AC Festival Express trains provide an enhanced travel experience, promising a delightful journey for passengers seeking a luxurious ride between Bengaluru and Barmer.
