Indigo Launches second flight to Bengaluru
Indigo Airlines began daily additional flights from Belagavi to Bengaluru on October 30.
Staff from Indigo Airlines organized a small ceremony that included cake cutting and lamp lighting.
Lamp lighting and cake cutting were performed in the presence of Ms. Rosina, the airport manager for Indigo Airlines, other AAI officials, and other stakeholders by Shrimati Mangal Suresh Angadi MP Lok Sabha, Shri Iranna Kadadi MP Rajya Sabha, Shri Anil Benke MLA Belgaum North, and Shri Rajesh Kumar Maurya, the Airport Director of Belagavi Airport.
All Hon’ble MPs & MLAs thanked Indigo Airlines for commencing the most demanded sector in the morning hours.
As always, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Indigo Airlines, each and every resident of the Belagavi district, and the entire media community have supported and guided Belagavi Airport, stated the Airport Director, and thanked them all.
By coordinating with ATCOs and the Tech Department, the Fire Department, AAI, and the New flight received the customary water salute.
The Morning flight now leaves Bengaluru at 9.30 am hours and arrives at 10.55 am hours. The Morning flight from Belagavi departs for Bengaluru (BLR) at 11.15 hours.
The second flight is rescheduled for the late evening with an arrival time of 19:10 (7.10 pm)Â and a departure time of 19.30 (7.30 pm).Â
Out of the total 78 seats on the ATR-72 aircraft, 63 passengers arrived this morning and 61 left.
Along with the airport manager, Indigo, other AAI authorities, and Indigo staff, the airport director also welcomed the captain and other crew members of the Indigo Aircraft at Apron with a bouquet.
