BIMS Super Speciality Hospital’s pending works are to be accomplished soon. On Monday, November 11, the Karnataka Development Programmes (KDP) conducted its quarterly review meeting at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha in Belagavi, under the presidency of district in-charge minister Govind Karjol.
According to the minister, 3 doctors have been transferred to BIMS following government orders, and further doctors will be hired in accordance with the needs of the hospital. The transferred doctors should be relieved right away, he told the health department officials.
Prakash Hukkeri, a member of the Legislative Council who was present at the meeting, pleaded with Mr. Karjol to have the work of the BIMS Super Specialty Hospital finished immediately enough. At the district level, a committee should be established, and monthly meetings should take place.
Minister Karjol stated, “The concerned authorities should complete it before the winter session which begins in the month of December without making excuses.” A super specialty hospital was to be built on the grounds of BIMS in 2019, but the project has already been delayed.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is scheduled to inaugurate it, according to Minister Govind Karjol, therefore work needs to be finished as soon as viable.
