Belagavi Rain: Belagavi District, brace yourselves for heavy rain and thunderstorms in the next 48 hours. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning predicting rains or thundershowers in 20 districts of Karnataka, including Belagavi, in the next 24 hours.

As per our Weather Editor, The Echoes from the Doppler Weather Radar from Goa indicate the intensity of rainfall in the region. As per the readings, Rain/Thundershowers Over Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala are expected to continue for 3-4 days.

The IMD has predicted that isolated places over Bidar, Belagavi Rain, Bagalkote, Koppal, Kalaburgi, Raichur, and Yadgir districts of North Interior Karnataka are likely to experience rains or thundershowers. The southern part of the state, including Ballari, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chamarajanagara, Chikkaballapura, Chitradurga, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Tumakuru, and Ramanagara districts of South Interior Karnataka, may also experience rainfall.

According to the latest information received from our weather editor, the GFS – 850hPa + Rainfall probability data suggests that the Belagavi district and Belgaum division in North Karnataka are likely to experience light rainfall in the coming days.
