Government Officials, Led by Rajya Sabha MP Iranna Kadadi, Pave the Way for Belagavi MSME Tech Park in City
In a significant development for the industrial landscape of Belagavi, officials from the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) visited the city to inspect a proposed site for the construction of an Belagavi MSME Tech Park. The visit was led by Rajya Sabha MP Iranna Kadadi, who directed the officials to assess the feasibility of the location and subsequently submit a proposal to the Central Government for the establishment of the Tech Park.
The inspection team, consisting of Shri Sanjiva Kumar, Director General of the Ministry of MSME, Shri Satyanarayana Bhat, Joint Director of District Industrial Center, and Shri Harshad Ahmad, State Director of Laghu Udyog Bharati, visited the identified land in Belagavi. The officials engaged in detailed discussions regarding the potential of the site and the strategic advantages it offers for the proposed Belagavi MSME Tech Park.
Following the on-site inspection, a meeting was convened with officials from the concerned department, where plans for the construction of the Belagavi MSME Tech Park were deliberated. Rajya Sabha MP Iranna Kadadi expressed optimism about the project and emphasized the importance of fostering a conducive environment for the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the region.
Shri Sanjiva Kumar, Director General of the Ministry of MSME, commended the efforts of the local administration in facilitating the process and ensuring a smooth collaboration between the government and relevant stakeholders. He highlighted the role of MSMEs in driving economic development and job creation, stating that the Tech Park would serve as a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship in Belagavi.
Shri Satyanarayana Bhat, Joint Director of District Industrial Center, shared insights into the potential economic impact of the Tech Park on the local community. He underscored the positive outcomes that could arise from the establishment of a dedicated space for MSMEs, providing them with the infrastructure and resources necessary for growth and expansion.
Shri Harshad Ahmad, State Director of Laghu Udyog Bharati, echoed the sentiment, stating that the Tech Park would play a pivotal role in harnessing the entrepreneurial spirit of the region and contributing to the overall industrial development of Belagavi.
As a result of the successful visit and positive feedback, the MSME officials have agreed on the proposed land for the Belagavi MSME Tech Park and will now proceed to submit a comprehensive proposal to the Central Government.
