The Uncertainty of Spicejet & Fall of Belagavi Airport’s September Passenger Load Factor.
Belagavi Airport has been shining brighter and climbing heights. The Airport inspired by the support of Locals, Aam Aadmis fell prey to political ambitions. Belagavi Airport has never seen or needed any help to give AAI & Southern Region Passenger Loads, Be it UDAN Flights or Non-UDAN, The Airport at Sambre has delivered well.
But, We can never remain higher, We deem to fall.
And it’s inevitable to remain in the top spot without any support.
It’s the right moment to say That Spicejet Airlines & Star Air are the airport’s backbone. Where later remains committed to and for the IXG, Spicejet fails to do so.
As the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) placed limits on SpiceJet to operate with just 50% capacity until October 29, 2022, this fall may be caused by flight cancellations in the month.
Thought Brighter Days are ahead as Hope, As the 50% restrictions are lifted for SpiceJet. Let’s aim to regain our spot.
According to the monthly air traffic report recently provided by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the passenger traffic at Belagavi Airport decreased by 3% and 9%, respectively, in August compared to the previous month.
According to the DGCA, Belagavi Airport saw a total of about 23,478 passengers in September, which is 2458 fewer than the 25,603 in August.
