Empowering Rural Communities of Belagavi Taluk through Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana
In the development programs of the Central Govt, The participation of the public, representatives, and officials is very important. Rajya Sabha MP Iranna Kadadi requested the villagers that if the “Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana” is to be successful, all the people of the village should join hands in this work.
He spoke while presiding over the meeting of taluk-level officers and villagers about implementing the project in Kukadolli village of Belagavi taluk selected under MP’s Adarsh Gram Yojana.
This project aims to provide basic facilities like health, education, drinking water, roads, sanitation etc. in rural areas. People from rural areas are migrating to urban areas, attracted by the amenities of urban areas. Because of this, urban areas are also under the pressure of crowding. Now, in order to promote it, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana with the objective that the rural areas should also get all the facilities that are available to the city citizens, the people of the rural areas should avoid migration to the urban areas and besides, the people of the rural areas should also get well-equipped facilities.
MP Iranna Kadadi said, “I have already developed four villages during my tenure, and in the coming days, the authorities are cooperating to select two more villages and develop them as well. The MP called upon the villagers to join hands for the success of this project by cooperating with the officials.”
On this occasion, Ravi Bangarappanavara, Project Director of Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, Rajesh Dhanwadakaran, Executive Officer of T.P.M., Vasappanavara, BEO, Mahantesh Chivatgundi, Assistant Director, Social Welfare Department, Taluka Health Officer, Dr. Mastiholi, Shankar Desai, Taluka Veterinary Officer Anand Patil, Kukadolli Gram Panchayat President Siddava Hosura, Vice President Karevva Huchchannavar, PDO Chandrakanta Deshpande, Belgaum Rural BJP Mandal President Dhananjaya Jadhav, officials of various departments of the taluk, village members and villagers were present.
