Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi announces promising response from Nitin Gadkari; Belagavi to witness major infrastructure developments.
Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi stated in Gokak on Wednesday that the response from the Union government to the idea to build a flyover across Belagavi city has been extremely promising.
Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi said, “We requested help for the project when we met with Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Union Road Transport and Highways”. He’s agreed with helping us. In addition to reducing traffic in the city when it is finished, it will connect the highways in Goa and Maharashtra, the Minister informed journalists.

The National Highways Authority of India has received every required document, such as project and feasibility reports. According to him, the project should cost between 300 crore and 400 crore.
The State administration, according to him, is dedicated to constructing a ring road around Belagavi city. “There are some people who are against the initiative. We will respond to their worries,” he stated.
He said that construction on the Halaga-Machche bypass road and the Belagavi-Panaji National Highway would shortly begin.
“The State government will embark on several initiatives to increase industrial output in rural and underdeveloped areas of North Karnataka. We’re attempting to establish a new industrial area in the Belagavi district, so I’ve ordered officers to look for a suitable site, he explained.
