The new service was officially launched on Friday, January 19, 2024, marking another significant expansion in NWKRTC’s commitment to providing convenient transportation options for the people in these regions.

NWKRTC’s Sleeper Bus Fleet Expansion
NWKRTC recently acquired four sleeper buses, further bolstering its commitment to improving transportation services in the region. Two of these buses have been allocated to the Hubballi-rural depot, while the remaining two have been dedicated to the Belagavi depot. Just a few days ago, NWKRTC introduced the Pallakki non-AC sleeper bus service between Hubballi and Shiradi, garnering positive responses from commuters.
Extended Connectivity: Belagavi to Latur in NWKRTC Pallakki
The Pallakki bus service connecting Belagavi and Latur is set to commence its journey from the Belagavi Central Bus Terminus at 8 pm, reaching Latur at 6 am the following day. The designated route includes crucial stops at Lokapur, Jamkhandi, Vijayapur, Solapur, and Tuljapur, ensuring connectivity across various towns and cities. This extension of services comes shortly after the successful launch of the Shiradi route, showcasing NWKRTC’s commitment to meeting the diverse transportation needs of the community.
Convenience for Devotees of Tulaja Bhavani
The introduction of the Pallakki bus service holds particular significance for the residents of Belagavi, as highlighted by Sandesh Petkar, a local resident. “This bus is handy for the people of Belagavi because Tulaja Bhavani is many people’s kuladevi, and we did not have an overnight sleeper bus to visit the Pilgrim,” he remarked. The new service of NWKRTC Pallakki not only facilitates overnight travel but also caters to the spiritual needs of those visiting the revered Tulaja Bhavani temple.
NWKRTC Pallakki’s Efficient Schedule for Commuters
Officials have outlined a convenient schedule for the Pallakki bus service. Departing from Latur Bus Stand at 7:30 pm, the bus is expected to arrive in Belagavi at 5:30 am the next day, ensuring a comfortable and timely journey for passengers.
