Namma Clinic was Inaugurated yesterday by MLA Abhay Patil
Namma Clinic Inaugurated: An innovative public health program called “NAMMA CLINIC” was launched by MLA Abhay Patil in Majagaon. A doctor, a lab technician, and nurses will be employed by the clinic.
The clinic will be open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for everyone without charge.
21 clinics in Belagavi: By the end of January, 21 Namma Clinics will be operating in the Belagavi District. Work is currently being done to get them ready for use by the public. Each Namma Clinic should be able to serve between 10,000 and 20,000 people.
This year’s budget featured CM Bommai’s announcement that 438 “Namma Clinics” will be set up throughout the state’s major cities. By the end of January 2023, the remaining 324 clinics will be running in various parts of the state.
Chief Minster Bommai, who spoke at the event of the Launch of Namma Clinics across Karnataka, said: “Namma Clinics will offer various healthcare services under one roof. These clinics will offer the underprivileged, urban residents of the lower middle class, those earning a daily income, and migratory workers improved healthcare services. The state budget will allocate special funding for the modernization of “Namma Clinics” throughout the state. 438 “Namma Clinics” are being created throughout the state with the goal of providing primary healthcare to the underprivileged. Systems for telemedicine will also be connected.
Dr. K Sudhakar, the state’s health minister, who was present for the event, stated: “The simultaneous opening of 114 ‘Namma Clinics’ in the first phase is a major milestone in our effort to ensure Universal Primary Healthcare Coverage and provide comprehensive primary care with preventive and promotive healthcare, especially to the urban poor. A government has never opened 114 clinics all at once. Before, those in need had to visit district hospitals for minor ailments like a cold, cough, or fever. However, people can now go to these clinics and receive free care.
