Karnataka Government in wake of rising COVID-19 New Variant cases has made wearing Masks Mandatory.
Karnataka Government: Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has issued a required order requiring all people with ILI and SARI symptoms to undergo a Covid-19 test in view of the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in other nations, notably China, and the discovery of a new mutant virus. After a meeting on Covid management, which was presided over by Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai, this announcement was delivered.
The Minister has further directed that masks must be worn in all enclosed spaces, including those with air conditioning.
According to Sudhakar, the necessary mask rule must be followed in places like schools, colleges, theatres, and other office settings.
Additionally, the criteria set forth by the Central Government will be adhered to when testing travellers arriving from abroad at international airports.

The Minister of the Karnataka Government has also advised setting aside some beds in district hospitals as well as private hospitals for Covid patients in order to guarantee the effective operation of oxygen equipment in hospitals.
Finally, despite the decline in Covid cases, only 20% of third-dose vaccinations have been completed. The Minister has advised setting up specific vaccination clinics in every taluk in order to meet the goal of 100%.
It is crucial to receive the third dosage of the vaccine as soon as possible and to disregard any assertions to the contrary. There have been reports in the House that the third dose may produce negative effects, but there is no solid scientific evidence to back this up. The strongest defense against COVID-19 is vaccination, but it’s also critical to wear masks and take other safety precautions to stop the virus from spreading. In order to prevent the mutant virus from having any impact, the Minister has urged individuals to take the required precautions.
