Deadline Extended: South Western Railway Grants More Time for Bids on Dharwad Belgaum New Line Construction Project
In a recent development, the South Western Railway has announced an extension for the submission deadline of the tender concerning the construction of a new broad gauge line track between Kyarkoppa (Except) and Mummigatti. This project is a part of the Dharwad Belgaum New Line Project and includes telecommunication and electronic works, covering a distance of 73.10 kilometers. The estimated value of this ambitious endeavor is a staggering ₹243,66,29,736.
The proposed project covers a distance of 73.10 kilometers and encompasses the construction of the track, along with associated telecommunication and electronic works. The railway line will extend from Kyarkoppa (CH:6100) to Mummigatti (25:17800) and is expected to provide enhanced connectivity and convenience to the residents of the North Karnataka Region.
Originally, the closing date for the tender was set for June 6, 2023, but a revised closing date of August 5, 2023, has been announced to allow sufficient time for interested parties to submit their bids.
