Train Diverted via Belagavi, Few Goa Originating cum bound trains.
Train Diverted:
as per recent notification sources, one to two pairs of trains Originating from Vasco Da Gama will be maintained at Belagavi.
For the smooth transportation of people and goods across the nation, the Indian Railways is aggressively working toward the electrification and doubling of railway lines. The Indian Railways has short-terminated or diverted trains on various lines as a result of the electrification works being done.
The South Western Railway is also actively doubling and electrifying railway lines throughout its region. The South Western Railway has announced plans to short-terminate and divert routes of a few long and short-distance trains operating in its region due to the electrification work at Braganza Ghats (Londa to Madgaon/CastleRock to Kulem).
As electrical work is being done on the Guntakal-Vasco Da Gama Mainline, The Braganza Ghat, between CastleRock and Kulem, a railway officer of South Western Railway hypothesized that certain trains were being short-terminated and diverted to/from Belagavi in the area.
As per recent modification in the latest circular, the following train will be maintained at New Belagavi Railway Coaching Depot.
Train Number: 18047
Shalimar – Vasco Da Gama Amaravathi Express
12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th & 20th of December.
Train Number: 18048
Vasco Da Gama – Shalimar Amaravathi Express .
15th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd and 23rd of December.
Dates of Diversion for Goa Express will be notified later.
