On October 12th Wednesday, Smt. Mangala Suresh Angadi & Shri Iranna Kadidi Member of Parliament for Belagavi, inaugurated the Road over Bridge (RoB) built in place of LC N:381 next to Tilakwadi Gate No. 3. 

On January 6, 2019, the late Suresh Angadi laid the foundation for the construction of the Third Gate Road Over Bridge (Level Crossing No. 381); however, work didn’t start until the final week of September 2019 owing to flooding and the COVID-19 lockdown.

MP Mangal Angadi thanked the elected officials for their help and assured that all of Late Sri Suresh Angadi’s dream projects would be fulfilled in the near future.

Anil Benake, MLA for Belagavi North, Abhay Patil, MLA for Belagavi South, Prakash Hukkeri, MLC, ADRM Vasantkumar, Chief Engineer Muralikrishna, and Dy Chief Engineer Chandrashekar were also present.

Speaking on the occasion MP Mangal Angadi recalled the efforts of Late Sri Suresh Angadi, former Union Minister of State for Railways in getting the referred RoB sanctioned.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Mangal Angadi highlighted Late Sri Suresh Angadi’s efforts to secure the sanction of the mentioned RoB. He was a former Union Minister of State for Railways.

In addition, she expressed hope for the early opening of the new Belagavi-Kittur-Dharwar railway line as well as the completion of the New Belagavi Railway Station.
